Gloucestershire is a county located in the Southwest region of England.

Location: Gloucestershire is situated in the southwest of England, bordered by the counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Bristol. It covers an area of approximately 3,150 square kilometers (1,220 square miles).

County Town: The county town of Gloucestershire is Gloucester, which is also the largest city in the county. Gloucester has a rich history dating back to Roman times and is known for its historic cathedral, medieval streets, and docks.

Cities and Towns: In addition to Gloucester, Gloucestershire is home to several other towns and cities, including Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, and the market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Each town has its own unique character, attractions, and cultural amenities.
