Omkareshwar Temple:
The main temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, housing the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. The architecture and the spiritual ambiance of the temple are major draws for visitors.
Mamleshwar Temple:
Also known as Amareshwar Temple, it is another important temple in Omkareshwar, located on the south bank of the Narmada River. It is often visited at the same time with the Omkareshwar Temple.
Narmada River:
The holy Narmada River is central to the spiritual life in Omkareshwar. Pilgrims often take a holy dip in the river as part of their rituals. Boating on the river is also a popular activity.
Parikrama:
Devotees often do a parikrama (circumambulation) of the island, which is considered highly auspicious. The path is around 7 kilometers long and includes several temples and ghats.
