The India Meteorological Department forecasts pleasant weather across Delhi-NCR over the next week. Cloudy skies and light rain will dominate the period. Cooler temperatures offer clear relief from recent heat and humidity.

Heavy rainfall remains unlikely at present. Monsoon activity over the region stays weak. However, most parts of the National Capital Region may still receive light rain or drizzle on several days.

Friday’s Outlook

For Friday, the IMD predicts a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum will settle near 25 degrees Celsius. Clouds will cover the sky for much of the day. In addition, light rain may appear in some areas. Humidity is likely to range between 60 and 80 percent.

On July 26, the maximum temperature will reach about 37 degrees Celsius. The minimum will stay near 25 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain overcast. Meanwhile, humidity is expected to hold between 60 and 70 percent.

Similar conditions will continue through the rest of the week. Daytime temperatures should stay below 36 degrees Celsius. Night temperatures may range between 25 and 26 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, cloudy skies and occasional light showers will appear across several parts of Delhi-NCR.

Although heavy or continuous rainfall is unlikely because monsoon activity remains subdued, intermittent showers will still help. These brief spells will keep temperatures under control. Consequently, humidity will ease and residents will enjoy much-needed relief.
